Every November, since its creation in 1995, the Round Table has been held by ReMeD to offer a place for the exchange of ideas by actors in French-speaking, Sub-Saharan Africa. These professionals come from various associated organs: governmental positions, central-purchasing agencies, or the pharmaceutical industry. By facilitating their meeting, ReMeD creates solid connections between buyers and sellers of generic, quality, essential medicines, political representatives and health care administrators.

These conferences are held to enable and effect change in the pharmaceutical sector to benefit the populations that are too often neglected. Each year, a current issue in healthcare is chosen as a theme.

Some past discussions have included:

2009 : “The pharmacist’s role in improving essential drugs quality and availability”

2008 : "Optimizing prevention and the fight against malaria: implications for the pharmacist”

2007 : “Durability for health care systems in developing countries: financing medications”

2006 : “Increasing involvement in the fight against chronic illnesses in developing countries”

2005 : “Increasing involvement in the fight against AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis”

2004 : “Contributing to regional cooperation to improve access to prescription medications in Africa 1994-2004”

2003 : “The Pharmacy and Public Health”

2002 : “How to develop local production of traditional medicine”

2001 : “AIDS: the pharmacist’s role in developing countries”
